1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using AI Hardener's security scanning platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Service Description

AI Hardener provides automated security scanning services for software applications, including but not limited to:

  • Static Application Security Testing (SAST)
  • Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
  • Software Composition Analysis (SCA)
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scanning
  • Secret detection
  • Vulnerability reporting and remediation guidance

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service at any time.

3. User Accounts

Registration

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Account Requirements

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service
  • You may not share account credentials with others
  • One person or legal entity per account

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
  • Scan code or systems you do not own or have authorization to scan
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Use the Service to develop a competing product
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization
  • Upload malicious code or content
  • Exceed rate limits or use automated systems to abuse the Service

5. Intellectual Property

Our Rights

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by AI Hardener and is protected by intellectual property laws. Our trademarks may not be used without prior written consent.

Your Rights

You retain all rights to your code and data. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your code solely to provide the scanning services.

Feedback

Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide about the Service may be used by us without any obligation to you.

6. Payment Terms

Pricing

Current pricing is available on our website. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice.

Billing

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis
  • All fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • You are responsible for all applicable taxes

Free Tier

The free tier is provided as-is without SLA. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the free tier at any time.

7. Warranties and Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE
  • THAT SECURITY SCANS WILL DETECT ALL VULNERABILITIES

AI Hardener does not guarantee that the Service will identify all security vulnerabilities in your code. The Service is a tool to assist with security, not a complete security solution.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AI HARDENER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES
  • ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL
  • ANY DAMAGES RESULTING FROM SECURITY BREACHES OR VULNERABILITIES NOT DETECTED BY THE SERVICE

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AI Hardener and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of a third party
  • Your code or data processed by the Service

10. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
  • We may delete your data after 30 days
  • Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive (including indemnification, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution)

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be notified via email or through the Service at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
